About Us
Since starting up in 2017 we have helped hundreds of students achieve higher scores in school and in major examinations. On average students can expect to see a 10-20 % increase in their grades, build confidence in their ability to take tests, and be more prepared for university level workloads.
Our senior students have been accepted into major universities such as UBC, SFU, McGill, Waterloo, Queens, Western, St Andrews, and LMU.
Our Team
Jason F, Head Tutor:
Math, Chemistry, Physics
Jason went to Sir Winston Churchill Secondary where he excelled in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. It was there that Jason developed his passion for tutoring by helping his fellow classmates in their studies.
He continued his education at the University of British Columbia, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance.
Jason has over ten years teaching experience and is dedicated to helping his students achieve their academic goals.
In his free time Jason enjoys practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu and playing golf.
James Z:
Biology, Chemistry, Calculus
James holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia and works as a chemistry teacher at Simon Fraser University.
James is an avid foodie and traveler.
Celina L:
English
As an avid reader and writer since an early age, Celina’s passion for the English language led her to pursue teaching as a means of helping others reach their full potential. She has spent 5 years tutoring and teaching English to youth of all ages, and looks to encourage all students to embrace reading and writing as tools for effective expression and communication.
Celina is a graduate from Simon Fraser University, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and World Literature, as well as a Certificate in Creative Writing. She is currently attending the Teacher Education Program at UBC.
Toby S:
English
Toby has taught English to hundreds of students in three different continents. He worked as a private tutor in Ecuador, ran English summer camps in Beijing, and helped students with SAT preparation in Shanghai. Having returned to his hometown of Vancouver, he now helps high school students with homework and test preparation.
Toby has a degree in creative writing and published a book in 2018. In his free time he enjoys acting, debating, rock climbing, and Jiu Jitsu. He is currently attending Simon Fraser University for psychology.
